My name is José. I'm a former software engineer, ethical hacker and digital forensic examiner who went head over heels into the talent sourcing and recruitment industry utilizing my cross-field experience. Along with Milan Novak, I founded the international app-only recruitment agency, GoodCall (currently 150 employees), specializing in social recruitment for 5-person start-ups as well as 10,000 person Fortune 500s.

GoodCall is the 415th fastest growing company in Europe by Financial Times.

I established the Recruitment Academy, to cultivate, collaborate, and raise the bar for sourcing and recruiting in Central & Eastern Europe.

My claim to fame is as the author of a controversial book People as Merchandise: Crack the Code to LinkedIn Recruitment recommended by Barbara Corcoran from ABC’s Shark Tank, the rogue recruiter David E. Perry and HR directors of companies such as IBM, Barclays, Randstad, Hewlett-Packard, Manpower, AVG and Google.

I just published the brand new book "HR ROBO SAPIENS: Decoding Artificial Intelligence for Modern Recruitment and HR Marketing" recommended by Microsoft, Tesla, Nvidia, Meta, IBM, Amazon, LinkedIn, Red Bull, Airbus and others.

I still spend a few days per week as a speaker and trainer helping companies like ExxonMobil, Deloitte, Foxconn, Siemens, Nestle, Tieto, Adecco, Raiffeisenbank, Randstad, MSD, KPMG, Accenture and others to advance their talent sourcing capabilites. And also provide my talent sourcing content to the global TA teams at companies including Cisco, IBM, Zalando and Booking.com.

I also haven’t fully left the software business as he’s an advisor and investor in a data-driven, people analytics ATS called Datacruit.
