What do you see as the biggest challenge for 2025?
We focus on getting true value from the AI and automation tools which are available and we work with. There has been a big AI hype, now it is the time to get business value for example in AI driven sourcing and screening.
Where do recruitment organisations need to improve on the corporate side?
I believe the organisations need to focus on the right communication to the potential candidates in order to get their messages across regions, generations etc. Listening to candidates brings feedback and inspiration to improvement of the approach and entire process. Candidates expect personalized treatment, ethical hiring and transparent process.
What should recruiters focus on in 2025?
It is important to adopt to constant change and focus on what really makes significant business impact. It depends of course on the industry and business situation of each company. In general it can be broadening talent pools by professional or demographics groups the organisations were not used to work before, exploring new ways of communication and last, but not least internal mobility.
What are some recruitment challenges you would highlight specifically in your country/region?
JYSK operates in the entire Europe, therefore the challenges vary. If I should pick one common challenge, then it is sourcing of relevant applicants. This is challenging both in the countries with high volume of applications as well as the countries the markets are difficult. Relevance in sourcing of applicants is key to success and efficient hiring process.
