“Focusing on experience impact and business value, not only cost” – Interview with Annamária Zentai (OTP Bank)

Reading time: 2 minutes

How do you see the current state of HR digitalization in your organization? (EX)

OTP Group is in a maturing and scaling phase of EX digitalization, where data‑driven listening and structured dialogue are becoming part of the employee journey.

We already operate a strong, scalable EX system:

  • Qualtrics–SuccessFactors integration provides automated, daily updated EX data flows.
  • Lifecycle surveys (onboarding, candidate, exit, engagement, pulse) run consistently.
  • The Employee Journey Framework with key moments and metrics is being implemented Group-wide.

In short: EX is no longer survey‑driven — it is becoming a data‑informed, dialogue‑driven ecosystem connecting listening → insights → leader action → business outcomes.

What was your main motivation for introducing HR technology developments? (EX)

  • To measure experiences at every key moment through a unified Group framework.
  • To replace ad‑hoc feedback with a structured, consistent dialogue platform.
  • To link EX data with leadership actions, strengthening trust and transparency.
  • To enable Group-wide, comparable insights that support decision‑making.

What trends do you see in HR technology over the next 3–5 years? (EX)

  • Shift to continuous listening ecosystems (lifecycle, always‑on, service experience).
  • AI‑supported insights in dashboards, reporting and theme detection.
  • EX + operational data integration for predictive People Analytics.
  • Leadership‑level EX dashboards enabling real‑time action and accountability.

Do you measure the ROI of HR technology investments? If so, how? (EX)

Yes — focusing on experience impact and business value, not only cost.

We focus on:

  • Engagement outcomes and key driver improvements.
  • Lifecycle insights, e.g., onboarding effectiveness across four milestones.
  • Leadership action-taking, follow‑through and dialogue quality.
  • Business effects: retention, manager effectiveness.
  • Efficiency gains from automated EX data flows and integrated systems.

What are you preparing for HRTECH CEE?

A clear narrative on “EX – data and dialogue”, highlighting:

  • How the Employee Journey Framework structures moments that matter Group-wide.
  • How Qualtrics lifecycle touchpoints create continuous listening.
  • How SuccessFactors integration ensures automated, clean, reliable data.
  • How leaders use data + dialogue to drive real, visible improvements in experience.

Thank you for the answers Annamária Zentai, the HR Capability Director of OTP Bank!
